How to Use Your Candle Refill: A Step-by-Step Guide
When about ½ inch of wax remains, allow it to harden. Fill a heatproof bowl halfway with hot water and place your candle jar inside. As the edges of the wax start to soften, gently press down and scoop it out - it should pop out easily like a disc.
Wash the jar thoroughly with warm, soapy water to remove any residue. Before reusing, check for any cracks to ensure it's safe for your next candle refill.
Unwrap your candle wax refill, peel off the wick placer, and insert the refill into your clean jar.
For the best results, allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted - this usually takes 3 to 4 hours. This step prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle’s life.
Burn for no more than 4 hours to avoid overheating and cracking. If the melt pool doesn’t reach the edges on the first burn, do not worry, it will catch up later on. Before re-lighting, trim the wick to 5mm to ensure a clean and even burn every time.
