Care Guide

Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, or fans, which can cause sooting (black marks on the vessel), or rapid, uneven burning.
Burn regular-sized candles for one and a half to two hours at a time. Burning for less time can cause the candle to 'tunnel', which leaves a build-up of wax around the vessel's sides. Burning for longer periods (over four hours) can cause the wick to move, or slant.
Make sure you stop burning your candle when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom, keeping an eye on a burning candle when the wax is low.
Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches, as debris in the wax can act as a secondary wick, encouraging your candle to burn faster.
After extinguishing the flame with a snuffer, centre and straighten the wick. Burning for too long can cause the wick to move, or slant. If you see a flaming wick come close to the vessel wall, extinguish the flame and straighten the wick to prevent the vessel from cracking.
Gently remove the stopper from the glass vessel.
Carefully place the reeds inside the vessel.
To get the most out of the reeds, we advise flipping them every two weeks. This speeds up the saturation rate and gives the scent diffusion a nice boost.
Did you know you can control the scent level to suit your preference? The more reeds used, the stronger the scent will be. Four to five reeds work well for small rooms, or to create a more subtle scent.
Due to the nature of the reeds and how they become saturated with liquid, it is best to always place your diffuser on a protective plate to ensure no liquid damages surfaces. Also, take special care that the reeds do not touch painted surfaces or other materials such as wallpaper, curtains, polished or synthetic surfaces or fabrics, as this may cause staining.
Larger rooms may require all the reeds to be used, or more than one diffuser depending on preferred strength.
Smaller rooms may not need as many reeds in one vessel. Add a few to test, then increase as necessary, until the desired scent level is reached.
The temperature of a room is very important as higher temperatures speed up diffusion. While the strength of the scent will increase, the life of the diffuser will be shortened. Avoid placing diffusers next to radiators to prolong scent release.
We offer diffuser refills in all of our scents, meaning you can enjoy your favourite diffuser for longer. With a 200ml bottle of diffuser oil and a new set of reeds (we recommend using fresh reeds for each refill), you can replenish the scent instantly. This refill is not to be used in electric air diffusers.
Place your chosen wax melt burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, other heat sources and flammable objects.
Position the wax melt segment in the top bowl of the wax melt burner and insert a tea-light in the base of the wax melt burner.
Allow the heat from the tea-light to melt the wax and fragrance will then release into the room. Do not touch the wax melt burner as it will become hot whilst in use.
Do not allow the pool of wax to completely evaporate so that the top bowl becomes dry whilst a tea-light is still lit. This could cause the wax melt burner to scorch / smoke. Let the wax melt burner completely cool before re-use.
If hardened wax remains in the burner bowl after use and you wish to remove it, light a tea-light in the burner for 1 minute and the hardened wax will pop out in one piece.
Store your essential oil blend in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture to maintain its quality. Each bottle is fitted with a pipette top for easy and controlled dispensing. Always replace the cap securely after use.
Essential oils are highly concentrated. If using on the skin (e.g., for massage), always dilute with a suitable carrier oil. Avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, and sensitive areas. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
For diffusion, add a few drops of your chosen blend to water in your diffuser, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Use in a well-ventilated space and limit diffusion to 30–60 minutes at a time.
Your blend can also be incorporated into DIY cleaning products, home fragrance recipes, or other household uses. If irritation or adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately.
Place your electric mist diffuser on a stable, flat surface away from draughts, direct sunlight, and flammable materials. Fill the water tank with clean, room-temperature water up to the indicated fill line, then add a few drops of your chosen essential oil blend. Replace the lid securely before switching the unit on. The diffuser will release a fine mist, dispersing fragrance into the room.
Do not overfill the water tank, as this may prevent the unit from working properly. Never move the diffuser while it is in operation. Switch off and unplug the unit after each use, and allow it to cool before emptying or refilling. Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth regularly, and clean according to the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain performance and longevity.
